I have the same trailer kit without decking and my camper is bolted to it using hockey pucks as spacers.

The tongue weight as it sits is 56#. By battery and spare will be mounted under the trailer, behind the axle slightly reducing the empty tongue weight.

Good to hear. I won’t be mounting mine for a couple weeks yet.

I agree, it’s all about what works for you. I’m just glad the CLC is willing to accomodate.

$22.70 to get it back to them. I guess i will have a little under $50 in the switch. Worth it in my opinion.

They agreed to replace mine as long as I paid shipping. I felt this was fair. Mine is still untouched in the box.

Do you only need to varnish or clear the surfaces that get direct sunlight? I’m not sure i want varnish on the floor of the interior or on the floor of the galley. I would think that varnish would be to soft for these surfaces.

    Nice job!

If you don’t mind my asking, How much varnish did you need?

I went with a trailer that puts the wheels outside of the trailer width in hopes that I can customize the ride height to get this right. I am using the NT 5×8 aluminum trailer. I may move the axle on top of the springs to get the height down. I’ll keep you all posted.

let us know if you find a better fitting fan. I’m in the same boat. I’m tempted to cut the flange off and glue it in the hole with sealant.

I just shaved enough off until I could get it in. Thickened epoxy filled the gap.

I don’t think i am in any position to give advice. I’m just as perplexed with my ever changing door as everybody else. I’m waiting to see what happens when i get my seals in place. Sounds like I will be in for more surprises.
