I am finding that the epoxy roller covers shipped with my ICC kit are falling apart under use when rolling epoxy resin to coat wood.  I don’t remember them falling apart when building my teardrop camper ~5 years ago.  Is this common experience or have I received a bad batch?  Any suggestions?

I am cutting the provided rollers in half to fit the provided 4″ roller frames.  I am wondering if I need to leave them uncut to get them to hold together longer.

<span style=”-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);”>I just buy 4” foam rollers at Lowe’s or Menards, they work fine and don’t fall apart. I used one from this new pack last night and I’m about to use another now.

Thanks! I think that the epoxy heating up in the rollers was contributing to the foam layer delaminating from the roller.  I am in Texas and am trying to cope with higher temperatures and shorter working times.   I find that if I pour the epoxy out on the parts (instead of working out of a tray) that I can get longer working times.
