Hi…
Any issues or concerns, or problems with this galley?
Why are you selling it?
Thanks kindly,
Bob Fincher
boxerteamParticipantHi Lucien…
im also interested in this fan. Have you installed it yet?
thanks !
boxerteamParticipantGreat find….. Just ordered. Thanks for recommendation
boxerteamParticipanthi Adam,
i have used the mark-2 in a small office in an upstairs of my garage… The space is appx. 60 sq. ft… the ac dropped temp on. 90 degree day, from 86 (inside temp.) to 74 without any problem…and dehumidification was excellent. i started the “run setting” on the boost cycle until comfortable and turned it down to run on the regular stage.
i believe the clc teardrop, especially with insulation package will be no problem.
boxerteamParticipantNew builder in Louisville…
just finished building the initial mold…. Would be very interested so as to benefit by the builds and advice of others…
boxerteamParticipantI don’t know if the following would be the best for you, and you should know I am very early in my build, but I recently sold a late model airstream that had heavy rubber “band” that connected on both the body of the camper and on the large window shades that would have had a similar vibration problem… This rubber “linkage” had a ball formed in it that would under significant elastic pressure be placed in a stainless “receiver” of the opposing component. These parts would be available at Airstream and surely would be available elsewhere…. This may not be the beat solution, but it will solve the problem.
boxerteamParticipanti have the exact same interest with my clc teardrop… kit just received…
I do not know anything about peltier, but after a lot of investigation i am very interested in the battery (or ac) operated zero breeze unit…see zerobreeze.com.
we will have a fairly extensive solar solution for power including recharging the zerobreeze battery, and we will have a second zerobreeze battery backup.
i want to avoid the noise of the typical window unit significantly installed within the teardrop “cabin.” The zerobreeze unit sits outside the cabin with only small ductwork directing air in and out of the teardrop.
i hope this helps…
kind regards,
bob fincher
boxerteamParticipantThanks so much for this… I’m just beginning my build and appreciate the notice you provided and insights Re solution…
boxerteamParticipantdime signs = dimensions…..
boxerteamParticipantI am 6’4” and 250…. Just beginning the teardrop build now… After inspecting the interior dime signs, while getting into the teardrop, I got “comfortable” that I would be fine…actually will have a larger bed (queen) than what comes in a full size Airstream I just sold…(“short queen” also called “RV queen.”)
