    Hello everyone!

for those who have coated the black headliner foam with a more appealing fabric (velvet, pleather, suede…etc),   Can you post some tips and materials used?

    thanks

I used automotive headliner material as recommended by artisticAdam.

If you search this forum under 2423 you will see my post with photos. You might also search artisticAdam posts for his

    information on this topic.

After two years my headliner has held up well.

Bought outdoor fabric from Joan fabrics ,used the pieces to create a pattern. Used 3m 77 to adhere it to the foam.

I had the best luck with stretch materials, started with a vinyl and it wrinkled terribly on the pieces that have to flex. High spandex percentage material, and then I just stapled it into the back and used some industrial thumbtacks. It comes down every once in a while but just takes a few seconds to fix on the road, when I tried glue it couldn’t hold up in the Georgia heat.
