sorry for all the questions! your feedback is extremely useful
any thiughts on what to use for the headliner? id love to buy the one clc sells but it is pricey. without the headliner, how did u run and hide your wires? and any issues with condensation overnght?
with regards to your tongue box, is that made from wood?
tomtntParticipanthey Jake, you didnt use one of the vent that CLC sells? which vent/fan did you end up going with and did you have any problem fitting it into the opening?
tomtntParticipantdid you buy the 1195-lb capacity trailer or the more expensive, 1740lb capacity trailer? do you have the tear drop sitting on something to elevate it above the height of the fenders?
i was hoping to switch out the wheels also but yea, the galley would be way to high…
amazing work- would love to see more in-progress pictures if you have them!
tomtntParticipantso with the stringers, it can sit on a harbor freight 4×8 trailer over the fenders?
tomtntParticipantlooks awesome! is that just a painted harbor freight 4×8 trailer?
tomtntParticipantthe dynamic load specified is the weight that the racks/vehicle can sustain while moving. ie, due to the forces of wind, sudden braking etc, the roof and the racks can only support a certain weight limit.
When not moving, the rack should be able to support more weight given the absence of those forces…
