    Three pipes from tank.

    Fill, supply, and bleed.

Bleed….constant slope to prevent airlock mounted in the middle rear to prevent water washing out during cornering under tow. Outlet of bleed is below fill point, and so drains from bleed when tank is being filled, allows air in during water use.

Supply…… has a T and tap to drain tank when reqd.

Fill ….. lare diameter for fast filling.

Grey water (red tap) obtained from RV store. Hose fitting next to it is not reqd, for cold shower or general use and T’d into tap supply.

I recon the hand pump you sujested would be a great idea and more than adequate.

I’m only 5’4 so just check you’ll have room for your feet and put plumbing as outboard  as practical, caution the tap doesn’t interfere with the closed galley hatch and you should be sweet.

    Hope this helps.

    HI

Had mine built buy a local engineering firm as all trailer supplier’s  were far to buisy here in New zealand 😜.

It wasn’t cheep but they did an awsome job. I had to trim the guards back as the cabin slopes out more than I calculated. They also welded in the water tank supports which you can just see in the photo.

Made from aluminium to keep draw bar weight below 50kg. This is due to full size tyres (rough roads here) and aft axil placement for door clearance. Retro gurds would be cool but happy with flat angle, makes a handy place to put stuff.

Happy to supply dimensions if anyone is serious about doing the same.

The picture is of the gap between the galley and R/H side of camper. It’s probably not even necessary, just a precaution.

Another couple of thoughts that may help if you go down this road.

run the wiring in the galley down threw a riser pvc tube, this has several benefits.

prevents water, should a leak occur, from entering the cabin,

But make sure the riser is

A .. not so tall that any flooding will reach any of the electronics

B…. tall enough that water can drain out the back of the galley.

Havent had any issues YET but have a large lithium battery in there so fear of turning my camper into a massive Roman candle has required some carefull planning.
