Ultra Breeze Vent Fan Option

Has anyone added the Ultra Breeze vent cover option for the Dometic ceiling fan offered by CLC? Is it worth adding this option to the fan? I had heard that the fan may not keep the rain out when opened.

Hello –

I did not use the vent on the CLC site – I used a fantastic fan but I am not sure if it is the same as what CLC offers (YMMV).

I installed a MaxxAir Black Flanmate Cover: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B010D1VJSC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it does a good job at keeping water from coming in.
