    Hello all,

I’m going to wire mine for solar and shore power. I’m wondering where those who’ve done this have mounted their 30amp connector. I’m thinking on the 1/4 panel between the side panel and transom?

    Cheers

    I only used a 20 amp connector for a Battleborn 12v Lithium Battery. Isn’t a 30 amp connector a little overkill?

answer to your question:  yes, there!

Yes it’s far more than I need but I usually camp in Ontario Provincial Parks.. their power pedestals at the sites are 15/30.

I understand… however, won’t it complicate things by having to use a Converter to go from 30 to 15 amp receptacle on the inside?  I guess you could use a 30-to-15 amp adapter plug….  I know you can use a 15-to-30 amp adapter at the power pole… I do that all the time.

Right Side:  15-amp plug (shore power to battery charger).

Right Side:  Solar Plug for portable ZAMP solar panel suitcase

Left Side:  110-volt house plug for receptacle inside.

For shore power, I use only 110V, and I have it installed on the driver side of the cargo carrier (I have a custom carrier). Most campgrounds will have the utilities on the driver side.
