Painting the inside of the Rear Hatch

Did anyone paint the inside of the hatch?  My seams did not turn out very good looking as these were my first seams.  There is several small air pockets and a ca spots as I didn’t use accelerant on the first seams.   I think I’ll sand it smooth as possible and then use marine paint.   I used some interlux black on the trailer bottom, with a 1” lip coming up from the bottom.   So maybe the same black, or maybe a lighter color?  I did see one builder paint the whole inside of the galley white, with a red painted galley organizer.

Any advice from other builders or even people with finished campers on the inside rear hatch?

We painted the galley same color as our bottom (but not galley proper) and plan to paint the inside of the camper hatch due to the same reasons.  The seams didn’t turn out so well, although we did try to smooth out the fiberglass tape.
