Leaks at Door when Driving through a Storm

Hi there! My camper doesn’t leak ordinarily–but I went through an outrageous storm in central NC (the kind where you have to slow down because you can’t see) and I had water all through the doors.

It seems to come in the sides and pool down at the bottom, where it soaked my mattress.

I put a new round of sealer tape around it, but am vexed about what else I might do. Thoughts?

To save myself from unnecessary headaches when I’m expecting to travel through heavy rain I preemptively tape all of the door and hatch seams with the yellows painters tape I used when I applied the truck-liner paint to the bottom of the camper.  It’s wasteful and a bit of a pain but has worked.
