Galley stove

    My camper is maybe half-finished.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a galley stove?

    Butane “jet boil” by Iwatani is what John and I have.

    CLC seems to like Iwatani butane stoves like this one:

     

    I don’t like the open burner that close to the galley structure.   I’m going to stick with my 20 year old Coleman dual burner propane stove since propane is easier for me to get.  That and I already have it.     It has a built in back wall to keep the heat away from the stuff behind it.

    From what John reports, the Iwatani radiates very little heat to the side and is safe near wood epoxy.  I haven’t used mine yet, butnI believe thatmthe galley flat is more than deep enough.  You get more but out of butane and the canisters are available in hardware stores or the internet. If one is still worried, one could easily make a metal heat deflector.
