It seems that searches for any text only results in one match for the post Technical Bulletin & Camper Update #2 (http://teardropforum.com/technical-bulletins-camper-updates/technical-bulletin-camper-update-2-2/).
This post matches even when it doesn’t contain the string, for example, I searched for “velcro” and “godzilla” and neither string appears in that article.
Not sure if it is worth vocalizing, but just want to say that I am experiencing the same issue. Perhaps more activity on this topic will get the right folks’ attention. Thank you for starting a thread, I’m at a point where I was really hoping to search topics on a couple things and it is frustrating to not have the search work.
Same here. All searches end with the same single result. Perhaps they are trying to fix the issue I reported several weeks ago where many of the posts load with no content at all.
I think my suspicion is correct. It looks like they are patching the forum. Links to previously broken topics are working for me now. They probably just need to rebuild the index for the forum.
Until this problem gets fixed, you can use other search engines like Duck Duck Go (https://duckduckgo.com/) or Google and search for:
site:teardropforum.com velcro
to find text of your choice (in this example “velcro”). The “site” portion restricts results to the domain of this forum and you can follow that with your search string.
