Denatured alcohol alternatives

So California banned denatured alcohol. Didn’t realize this until i went to buy more to wipe clean the trailer before i start varnishing. Any alternatives out there?

I used methyl hydrate used for prepping cars for paint, get it at a auto parts store.

Works well, cheap, no residue evaporates quickly. Just wear a mask, pretty potent fumes.
