clever.  however it is either open, or closed.  there is no adjusting.   not a big deal at all,.  I added a know to my mushroom on the inside to dialing open, closed or in between.  but i like your style.  might be a future upgrade

How do you close it from inside?   I do not see any way to close it as that vent comes from the factory.  Di you use another component?

I used a auto door trim around the edges of my doors.  Have them a professional black outline on the outside and an nearly airtight seal.

I installed the CLC headliner kit with Super 77.  After 1.5 week trip in the southwest the foam seems to have shrunken a bit – the foam panels where tight against each other, and now there is a 1/4″ to 1/2″ gap on almost all the panels.    Has anyone else seen this?

Daws1954 and Boardwalk – Spring is here and is staying (i think 😉 ) –

I’m working on adding the roof rack now, and then the headliner will be next.  Daws1954 – did you use a router table for the radius work?  I don’t have one, but I think I will need on to do this work well.

Nice job!  The headliner looks great – what radius did you round it off to?  Interesting with the lamps inside – I assume they are 12v?

We have successfully spent one night in the camper. Still have galley kit, fenders, and headliner to install, but it’s looking good.   I used rubber weatherseal around my doors which I think makes tighter seal, and it really accents the doors nicely.

I bought 30# lifts from Amazon.  20 inch 30 lbs Gas Prop Lift Spring Rod Strut Heavy Duty Tool Box Lid Top RV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y3H2QZI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_p-MVzb5HMYTEE

The hatch worked fine after just replacing one, so a 25# set would be perfect if such a thing exisited.  I replaced both, and the hatch is very happy to rise up, and works great.

I have the same issue, I’m dying to hear what Atwood tells you.

i found this hasp which fits perfect but the hatch now doesn’t go up as high as it should.

Did you install longer bolts to mount it to the trailer?  The 5″ bolts that come with the kit are not long enough to go through both holes in the beam underneath.  I am trying to decide in I should just put the nut on the inside of the beam or buy long bolts and nut it from the bottom of the beam?

I was thinking the same.  ARB makes some too, this model is just over 4′ wide.

I was also thinking of a hot water system for the other side of the rack:

This holds 4 gallons of solar heated pressurized water.

This was tricky, and i had to shave about a 1/4″ off the back to get it to slip in.  Now I am stuck and finding the temporary spacer (galley hatch shim) to hold the galley flat while epoxying in place.  The manual says the kit has a 9mm plywood, 1/2″ wide strip.    The way the manual shows it the galley lid is also wide wider than i have.   I have a small solid piece of chamfered wood that I am not sure where that goes.  It this a change?
