    I’m at 3.5 K on mine.

I brew in the house 0.0K

Shoved model airplane stuff into corner to make room in garage 0.0K

    Kit 2.3K, trailer .7K, all other misc BS 1K = 4K

Have slept in it 5 nights saving about .1k per night = -.5K

Thank you for developing this. I would love to eliminate my “travel plugs” in the future. Keep us posted on how it works out.

I had the same issue with the routed door stiffener. I figured mine was one of the first kits and they would have changed it by now. This needs to be a service bulletin.

I found the pod with the voltmeter, usb and 12v outlet on ebay. I added a momentary switch for the voltmeter so it would not be on all the time. I also added a PWM controller for dimming my led lights.

5 gallons of water over a 1 sq ft area. No more concentrated weight then a battery, I would assume. My battery is mounted under the trailer so I used it’s weight as the standard for loading the galley.

I guess you could plans build and use rigid foam instead of marine ply? You would need to glass everything in the round so I don’t know how much of a savings it would be in the end. Mine only weighs 500 lbs empty.

I weathered a thunderstorm in my camper over the weekend. I left the travel seals in the front facing vents and had the rear facing open. I had no water inside. The reason i left the seals in the front facing vents is because the curved surface warps the base and leaves a gap between the baffle and the base without the pressure of the travel seal.

I have a couple trips and about 1000 miles on my camper. I would not change a thing about my trailer mods. I think the axle placement is about perfect.

a little cellofill in the mix with the wood flour will lighten up the color if you need to make the routed lines less obvious.

I will be camping in it the next three weekends. Glad to be done.

Sanding will eclipse all other tasks. I think the time saved from omitting these items is really minimal in the entire scheme of things. This is a fairly forgiving medium. I have a couple places where my saw did not track perfectly and I fixed with thickened epoxy. I have to look for them to find them.

If this was my plan, I would move the galley floor up 1/2 to 2/3 the height to the ceiling creating a headache rack to put stuff in. I would extend to footwell opening in the bulkhead up to the floor of the galley floor. and cut an opening in bulkhead to allow access to this space.
