ParticipantThis is kind of what I’ve worked out so far:

ParticipantI suspect someone could buy just the written plans and manual ($207) and the mold ($349)… Then modify the mold for the increased length and resulting raised arc…
You could also purchase some of the hardware and asscessory kits (hatch outfitting hardware $ 238, door outfitting hardware $385, roof vent kit with fan $295, electrical template for $20, storage box $484 , galley module $394).
The integrated cargo carrier would be changed by increased lenght, so you wouldn’t want to purchase that as you’d have to lengthen at least 12 of the large pieces. Better just to purchase the plans for that if available (can’t see price on those).
(I guess if you were going to do this, you might also expermient with the consequences of widening it too. I wouldn’t, but perhaps others might. However, that would effect the galley and some hatch outfitting hardware) .
Obviously, I’ve given careful thought and planning to stretching it… My stretch idea has the square portion of the camper fully occupying the footprint of a 5×8 trailer deck. The angled front and rear portions would extend in front of and begind that 5×8 foot print. The stretch is exactly 19 5/8″ and there is a cut schedule for all of the major straight pieces. The arc’d pieces, have not been fully accounted for yet. That would be a result of modifying the mold and kind of ’emperically deriving’ (aka dry fit of the pieces) those final measures and placing them in an ‘as-built’ plan.

ParticipantMike,
It looks like you might have had to do a bit of custom work for the skylight as well? Of course you didn’t start with their kit, so you didn’t need to adhere to the spots where they indicated you should make the cuts.I like your build. Very practical.

ParticipantThat is genius…. Thank you for sharing! I imagine a bit of beefing up of the aluminum might be requred to get that setup to work with the popular Northern Tool Ultra-Tow 5×8 aluminium trailer.
