Great video of the camper.  Started sharing with friends/family on Facebook.  Will we be able to paint the bottom of the camper – similar to the video/manual during class?  The less I need to remove the body from the trailer – the better.

    ~Thanks

Friz – did you happen to use the hockey pucks?  If so, how did they turn out?

Great idea on the ‘mixer’.  I was joking with a family member last week that I was going to use my wife’s hand mixer and good spatulas.

I have been day dreaming about my own CLCTD (I am attending the class in June).  I have come up with a ‘name’, colors, logo and possibly a theme.  I plan to stain the trailer, but also may do some ‘pin striping’ with a complementary color.

    Keep posting!  Love the updates.

CLC posted a short article on repairing a worn out kayak that had a much bigger issue.  Seems that with a little patience and perseverance – you too can be saved 🙂

I am planning to use the CLC box.  It just gels with the rest of the design.  I may mount a solar panel to the cover like a few other builders have done.

I think I am going to go the simpler route as well.  I did consider having a 12v/120v system, but that seems way too complicated.  Plus, I always bring battery backups for small devices, so using those and a car battery should set me up pretty good.

Forgot to ask, what mattress are you using?

Man, that’s nice.  I am all signed up and ready to go for the TD class in June.  I would prefer a black trailer like yours over the clear aluminum, so I may swap the trailer out once I get home.  Keep posting pics and/or updates on your experiences.  I plan to create a small webspace for my adventures in Annapolis in June.

Sorry.  Another question:  Can we substitute 6″ bar clamps for c-clamps?  I have much more use for bar clamps versus c-clamps.

Just signed up for the class.  Super excited.

    • What size spring clamps (2 inch?) and c-clamps should we be bringing?
    • Will we get a chance to discuss the electrical components in class?
    • Can I purchase the accessories (galley, vent, fan, roof racks, etc) at the class – or should I have them shipped home?

Hoping to be included in the June class.

    • When will we know if/when we can register?
    • Will our trailers have the 12″ wheels?
    • Is lunch provided or are we on our own?

I will be driving from Minnesota.  Anyone want to form a sightseeing group for the off hours?
