Very good idea. I am toying with the idea of adding something like that to the front for light and ventilation.
I elected not to doo the mushroom vents, and put I am putting in venting windows on the sides instead of the fixed plexi.

Love all the ingenuity!
I also went without a conventional trailer. I doubled up the floor thickness, and bolted the tongue and axle to the floor. Not done yet, but happy with the lower height.

I’m by Lake Emo / Woodbury area. I have one about 1/2 done if that helps. It has been modified some from the original kit.

daws1954, great looking trailer! What size wheels did you upgrade to? I also have the Northern trailer, have not assembled yet but planed to install different tires and rims. I’m in the Stillwater area, been working off and on since spring. think winter will be my friend time wise. I will heat my shop so I can near completion before spring.
