Eventually there will be no more UV protection there and even the epoxy could be worn off. My solution is to apply sliding lubricant to the hinges. I also applied some to the hinge pins. May 11, 2017 at 10:26 am #795 Diving DuckParticipant Nyl0n washers would be good, but I think stainless steel flat washers might work a little better. More “slippery” and might last longer.
