Hello, I picked up work on a partially finished trailer and am approaching the cut-the-doors-out point.  I have two questions for the group:

    1.  Whoever did the initial upper shell stitch-n-glue left quite a few wrinkles in the panel joints at the top and bottom of the doors, to the point that the sills will not seat well to the shell wall in those locations.  I think I need to ensure I have a clean 5/8-3/4″ area around the door opening for the sills.  Has anyone else encountered this issue, and what technique did you use to remove “wrinkled” areas?

    2. If anyone chose to cut the window openings before cutting out the door, why did you do so, and were there any issues with the door stiffness later in the process?  Do you think this would this help with interior access if I am installing the door stiffener prior to cutting out the door?

    Thx…
