    Here’s the part # for the T Handles: 92-21-532, T- & L-Handle Style Cam Latches, Southco.

Just google to find a distributor.  I can’t find the company I ordered through,,,,, Amazon has it listed but you get the “don’t know when this item is back in stock” message.

    Good Luck!

Galley:  I followed the above post idea… I have two (not one) locking handles on the galley lid.

Question:  Has anyone figured out a hinge that is a hidden type for the side doors of the UCC?

From what I remember, I did not glass the galley flat — reason is it would be hard to install because it wouldn’t bend.  However, I did use fiberglass tape on the filet seams,,, i also used tape under the inside shelf which is mentioned in the manual.

I would buy 5 quarts….. that’s based on 6 coats applied on the entire Teardrop.  Extra could be used as touchup.

John: I just completed the drawers and now will be assembling the frame. I also was worried about the filets on those seams….. Thanks for sharing — I think I’ll make them very small BUT use plexiglass tape to provide the strength. Please let me know what other challenges you encounter with the ICC. Sorry I don’t have anything to share,,,, but, once you start on the Teardrop,,,,,, I’ll have a lot of suggestions for you. CHEERS!

I just sized it against the lid.  However, I might add a strike plate later……. its very easy to adjust the CAM latch to accommodate the strike plate or add more pressure once the gasket starts to settle in.

Yes.  I installed 2 CAM Latches.  Go back in this forum and search on “Dan’s Build” – maybe on page # 9 or 10?  I followed his procedure – it worked brilliantly! I used this SOUTHCO Part:  SOUTHCO T-Handle Style Cam Latch (92-21-532).  Amazon doesn’t have them in stock right now,,,, so I googled another company.  I LOVE these latches….  I hope this helps.

Call CLC.  Mine have been back ordered since November……. probably yours too.  Thule is coming out with a new design in March.

One more thing.  I have a plug-in Marinco port which is wired to the Minnoka On-Board Battery Charger.

rsbrownmd:  I got my toilet bucket on Amazon — item is titled: Reliance Control Corporation Luggable Loo Portable 5 Gallon Toilet.  I also decorated it in camoflage shelf liner to jazz it up a bit.

I won’t until I go on a trip to the Everglades in mid-February…. I’ll post then.  I also bought a Toilet seat bucket for those middle of the night “gotta go” scenarios.  Just put a liner in it with kitty litter.

First off, I installed the ARB awning to the Thule Roof Rack Load bars — Works great!

Then when I set up camp, I deploy my CLAM tent and put up the privacy screens on the street side…. that way, the tent is my changing room.  I also have a dog — so I put up a pet fence so my dog can go in/out of the Teardrop and tent.

    I hope this helps…

Then get an AGM battery which will only last 4 years and weigh 3 times more.
