DanielParticipant
I have the same problem, so I added some clasps on each side. Now the galley hatch is closed in three points, one on each side.
DanielParticipant@sandman – nice job on the screen doors. Regarding the Peltier fridge, even if the temp is not constant, does it cool significantly?
DanielParticipantThanks,
That mosquito netting statement sounds like a homework assignment 😉 (yes, it is on my to do list)

DanielParticipantHere are few pics of the “lock” I have on my camper.
It is work in progress as I am planning to modify it by using a coarse thread screw, and I will embed the corresponding nut in the door sill. This way I will thread steel to steel rather than steel to wood.
DanielParticipantFor shore power, I use only 110V, and I have it installed on the driver side of the cargo carrier (I have a custom carrier). Most campgrounds will have the utilities on the driver side.
DanielParticipantGreetings fellow pennsilvanian !
I am in the NW, are you around these parts?
DanielParticipantTo lock the doors from the inside, I use a simple butterfly screw, in the door sill, just above the latch. Not the fastest, but it works.
besides a lock on the trailer hitch, I always use two pairs of wheel wedges (whatever their official name is).
DanielParticipantWhat is the black “thingy” above the mushroom vent.
Most likely I will steal the idea of galley hatch stiffner.
DanielParticipantI am in NW Pennsylvania, south of Buffalo.
The mold I used is partly complete (some boards were used to build the galley furniture).
Let me know if you are interested in it.
DanielParticipantI have made a slide out table inside the camper. It is narrow, it fits in between the galley countertop stiffners, it is as long as the galley countertop, and it slides out on two drawer guides.
It works just fine for rainy morning breakfasts, and for beverage holders while watching tv in bed, yes I have installed a tv in my camper.
DanielParticipantI am storing mine in the garage, but that is a fairly dusty space, so I have put over it a modified cover.
Lucky me, I found at Goodwill a brand new cover ($25) designed for the small R-pod camper, which turned out to be way to large. So, I broke out the sawing machine and retrofited that cover for the teardrop. Not the best looking seams, but it does the job.
the other week I left the camper for four days in a campground in FL, while I was offshore, and the modified cover worked just fine, it keept all the bird poop off of the camper.
DanielParticipantThere she is, first time out.
